Children’s classes are open to all children and are intended to nurture little ones to become spiritually vibrant and healthy young people. Classes ensure that children learn virtuous behaviour. They develop a powerful sense that each of us are important and have a role to play in serving humanity.
The classes place special emphasis on moral and character development, racial and cultural unity, celebration of cultural diversity, use of arts and music, and service activities. Neighbourhood children’s classes operate in the Tauranga area in Welcome Bay, Bureta, Brookfield and in Whakamarama. Classes are run by trained Baha’i Children’s Class teachers who are certified under the Child Protection Policy, which includes a mandatory police check.
